    1. Hey there! Yes but I haven’t uploaded it to the blog yet. I’m working on getting all eight of my great-grandparents’ stories written up, including Ben Sledge. In the meantime, what would you like to know about him?

        1. He did serve in the military, WWI. I have a copy of his draft registration card and a military grave registration for him. Looks like it was requested by great-great grandmama, Mimie (his mother). I will include all of that when I write a blog post on him. I asked cousin Danielle to ask aunt Edna if she has a picture of Ben. I have a picture of great-grandmama Lucy. She has her hands behind her head…is this the one you have?

            1. I’m proud of him too. He served overseas for more than 5 months but the grave registration doesn’t say where. I will have to see if I can order his service records from NARA. Try to ask grandmama’s sister, Aunt Fifty (Minnie Bell) if she has a pic of him. Will send you the pic of great-grandmama in an email.
